Welcome to HotelGuide.Networks' directory of hotels and hotel reviews for Youngstown!

Youngstown, in northeastern Ohio's Mahoning County and a few miles west of Pennsylvania's border, made an early name for itself as an industrial birthplace for iron and steel, later expanding to become a leader in auto assembly and metal fabrication. Long committed to cultural interests, Youngstown also is home to the Butler Institute of American Art, the first facility ever constructed to house priceless works by American artists such as Audubon, Remington, and Windslow Homer. Other museums and attractions include the Arms Family Museum for arts and crafts, the War Vet Museum, and the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry & Labor. E.W. Powers Auditorium, on the National Registry of Historical Places, is also known as the Warner Theatre, having been built by the Warner brothers who grew up to launch their theater careers in Youngstown on their route to movie mogul fame. Stambaugh Auditorium, also on the National Register, opened in 1926 with a performance by humorist Will Rogers. Austin Log Cabin, dating to 1814, houses period antiques, books, pictures and furniture. Some 49 area parks and recreational facilities include Yellow Duck Park, with watersports and Little Tykes Beach, and the 2,600-acre Mill Creek Park with two 18-hole championship golf courses, three lakes, a working grist mill, the Silver Suspension Bridge, and Fellows Riverside Gardens featuring rhododendrons and azaleas, and miles of trails. Youngstown lodging includes inns, motels and hotels at assorted price ranges.
